We also visit the control room in your mind where you are able to turn down the anxiety switch, which has had you operating on high alert and living in an anxious state.
What happens when you listen to the recording? You enter a state of deep relaxation similar to what you experience just before you drift off to sleep and when you first wake up. It is a completely natural and healthy state to be in. In this relaxed but focused state, you simply listen to the helpful, positive and therapeutic suggestions that are made and it is your choice whether you accept or reject those suggestions. You will remain aware of your surroundings and be in complete control at all times.
