What do you like about advertising, products and services? Market researchers want to know and will pay people just like you to attend their market research sessions and give their opinions.
What is Market Research?
Market research sessions are put together by major manufacturers, government organizations, advertising and marketing agencies. They are organized so that you, the consumer, can let these companies know what you like and don't like in relation to products, services and advertising. Each session requires a particular type of person, which may relate to age, occupation (including stay at home mums and dads), use of a particular product brand etc.
What happens at a Market Research Session?
Generally a group of people sit around a table and chat to a moderator about the topic of the day. You may be shown new or old products, or a new idea for an advertising campaign - to find out your thoughts. You may be viewing a new ad and completing a questionnaire or tasting food samples. Our sessions are varied and always fun.
How long does each session last?
Anywhere from 15 minutes to 2-3 hours. You will always be told how long your session will last and how much you will be paid which is anywhere between $35 and $100 depending on how long you are required to stay. You will receive that information prior to agreeing to participate in a group.
Where will I have to go?
Generally research sessions take place at a central location. If the particular time or place of one session doesn't suit, we will always keep you on file for next time.
Do I have to buy anything?
Absolutely not. We are members of the Market Research Association of Australia and abide strictly by their rules. It is only your opinions and ideas we require.
